Collage is the French word for assemblage. In this course we will explore combinations of paint cut and torn papers gauze and other found (recycled) items that can be adhered together. Images can be realistic or abstract according to the whim of participants. Acrylic paints may be used. This is a forgiving creative and enjoyable medium to work in. Each participant selects their own subject and works at their own pace. Instructor has a lot of collage materials that she freely shares with the class.
